FEL Bucket

I have a YM3810 that came with a FEL. I think it's factory. The bucket is 40" wide, and flimsy due to all the rust. It has teeth, and someone tried to reinforce it with .25 x 2" bar stock running the width of the bucket. I bent it, and ripped a hole in the bottom of the bucket. Looks like less than 11 gage steel construction. Does anyone have any plans, or advice for making a tough bucket? I want one that will not bend.
